Before choosing a virtual mailbox for business: three rules
Every CMRA-based virtual address is subject to the same three federal and state rules, regardless of provider.
- Required USPS PS Form 1583 authorizes the provider to receive mail as your agent; see how to complete Form 1583.
- Depends The address must include a PMB or box number, or mail can be rejected; see what a CMRA address means.
- Depends Some states require an LLC's principal office to be a physical address; see using a virtual address for an LLC before filing.
Providers with low published starting prices sometimes have no true free plan; for options and their conditions, see free virtual address options for an LLC. For a direct comparison of two widely searched providers, see how iPostal1 and Anytime Mailbox compare.
How this page is sourced
VirtualMailboxBusiness.com was built by Cedrick Reese to compare virtual mailbox services on published pricing rather than on marketing claims. Every price on this page comes from each provider's official pricing page and carries the date it was last checked. Rules about Form 1583, CMRA addresses and LLC filings are summarized from USPS, IRS and state Secretary of State sources, which are rechecked when those agencies publish new form revisions.
